"The convocation"
The sun is shining warm and bright.
These finny fellows are just hanging, suspended in the water ,
listening,
enjoying the warmth,
sending their own brand of gratitude
skyward.
There are more swimmers in my studio
these days.
They are promising me
sunlight
springtime
and gratitude
for
water, air
and color.
I am currently dividing my time between
watercolor and oils.
Painting butterflies for
my July workshop at
which will be a watercolor class.
While I am letting colors flow downstairs,
I retreat upstairs to my little studio
and my beloved oils.
Painting madly
for my June exhibit in St. Charles
Whew.
No wonder these little swimmers
are appearing to help me along!
They are in oils,
proving...
oil
and
water
do indeed mix quite nicely.
Hope you can join me for some of the fun.
